ITAC 2015 ADSSI Home Care take out the “Implementation of the Year” award for organisations with revenue between $5 million and $30 million.
Double award win at ITAC 2014 – NRSDC takes out the “Implementation of the Year” award for organisations with <$5 million revenue, and ThoughtWare takes out the prestigious “ICT Company of the Year” Award.

McKenzie Aged Care won the award for best software implementation – over 650 beds in the ITAC Awards 2012 for their implementation of i.on my Care.
This joins our earlier wins with Alphington (less than 150 beds) and finalist with St Luke’s Care (150-650 beds) and finalist for software company of the year: confirming that i.on my Care can help aged care, community care and hospital organisations of any size.
i.on my software helps equip businesses with the appropriate tools to help address Governance, Risk Management, Compliance and Accreditation requirements.
ThoughtWare CEO Sonja Bernhardt was honoured in the 2011 Australia Day honours with a Medal of the Order of Australia for services to the IT industry: raising awareness and the profile of IT, science and technology both in general and specifically for encouraging girls and women to enter careers in technology.
ThoughtWare was double-finalist in the ITAC Awards 2010 in the ICT Company of the Year and Best Implementation – Under 150 Places categories – and our client, Victorian aged care centre Alphington’s, won the latter award for their implementation of i.on my care.
The awards were held on July 27 at the Regent Plaza Ballroom in Melbourne.
The i.on my software is designed to help aged care centres (as well as schools, childcare facilities and other businesses) meet not only their legal and auditing requirements but their own quality and governance policies, in an easy to use, auditable and time-saving manner.
Our award winning i.onmy Care software has been selected as a leading foundation application on the new NEC Aged Care Cloud Computing platform (see story in ITWire). The platform was launched at a great event in Melbourne’s Rockpool Restaurant on July 25, attended by the global NEC president and ASIA Pacific president, where a formal MOU between NEC and the two peak industry bodies – ACAA (Aged Care Association Australia) and ACSA (Aged and Community Services Australia) was signed.
ACAA and ACSA have chosen cloud-based applications hosted by NEC as the preferred means of meeting the IT needs of member organisations in the aged care industry.

WITI (Women in Technology International), has announced today, that Sonja Bernhardt. Qld based CEO is the first Australian woman being inducted into the WITI Hall of Fame.
The “IQ” section of the Brisbane Courier Mail (Nov 9, 2005) featured Sonja, discussing her induction into the WITI Hall of Fame and the need to overhaul the image of the IT industry from the “techy, geeky” image to a more accurate reflection of the people involved.
In the final judging of the Achaeus Financing Innovative Growth (FIG) Program in June 2005, ThoughtWare won two out of the four possible awards, for Best Business Plan Presentation and Best Business Plan Financials.
