Winners - Best Implementation!

ThoughtWare was double-finalist in the ITAC 2010 Awards, in the ICT Company of the Year and Best Implementation - Under 150 Places categories - and our client, Victorian aged care centre Alphington's, won the latter award for their implementation of i.on my care.

The awards were held on July 27 at the Regent Plaza Ballroom in Melbourne.

The i.on my software is designed to help aged care centres (as well as schools, childcare facilities and other businesses) meet not only their legal and auditing requirements but their own quality and governance policies, in an easy to use, auditable and time-saving manner.

Foundation Application on NEC Cloud Computing

Our award winning i.onmy Care software has been selected as a leading foundation application on the new NEC Aged Care Cloud Computing platform (see story in ITWire). The platform was launched at a great event in Melbourne's Rockpool Restaurant on July 25, attended by the global NEC president and ASIA Pacific president, where a formal MOU between NEC and the two peak industry bodies - ACAA (Aged Care Association Australia) and ACSA (Aged and Community Services Australia) was signed.

ACAA and ACSA have chosen cloud-based applications hosted by NEC as the preferred means of meeting the IT needs of member organisations in the aged care industry.
